Day 1: Arusha / Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast before you drive to Tarangire national crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the parks registration book before you enter the park for evening to sunset game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals. 

Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. `You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you’ll arrive at your lodge/campsite where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your first night in the bush. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire / Lake Manyara Park

Early breakfast at 5:45 am before you drive out at 6:00am for sunrise game drive in the tarangire national park. More game drive to 10:00am when you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for late morning to sunset game drives in the park.  Lake manyara park is among Tanzania’s smallest park. Drive through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa. Exotic birdcalls fill the air. Soon, the impressive of Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. In the mid day you will have a short break to enjoy a picnic lunch and afterwards you’ll continue game viewing of animals in the park to sunset.

Zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik and guinea fowl regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines.  You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake which is home of thousand of Flamingos and River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.  More game drive to sunset before you drives to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kirurumu tented lodge.          

Day 3: Lake Manyara / Serengeti National Park

Wake up early in the morning at 6:45Am whereby will take a cup of fresh brewed Tanzanian coffee. After breakfast you will take your way to Serengeti national park heading in a northwesterly direction.

Head up the winding, switch-back road and into the Ngorongoro Highlands continue to the Serengeti national park (endless plain) for afternoon to sunset game drive in the heart of Serengeti park before you heard to your overnight lodge/campsite for dinner and overnight.  Afterwards gather round the campfire before heading off to bed.  Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.  Dinner and overnight at Serengeti sopa lodge.      

Day 4: Serengeti National Park / Lobo Area

Another full day game drives in the Serengeti park. This starts from sunrise to sunset game drive in the endless plain of Serengeti park. You will have great time visiting retima hippo and crocodile pool. You’ll continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure.  Full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. Late in the afternoon drives to lobo area for dinner and overnight at Lobo wildlife lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drives start at 06:30am till 10:00am When you’ll stop for picnic lunch before you drive to the ngorongoro crater rim for dinner and overnight.  After Lunch departs for the Ngorongoro Crater with game drive en-route. At Olduvai Gorge, make a brief stop at the museum to view some of the incredible finds of Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey. Dinner and overnight at ngorongoro sopa lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha

Rise early for breakfast before you spend a fully day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino.  To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey. In the evening you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Arusha Lodge.
