Staying at Lahia Tented Lodge
Lahia Tented Lodge is perched on top of a large hill behind the Musabi Plains, in the Serengeti's Western Corridor, with sweeping 360-degree views over the Western Corridor and the central Serengeti. From May to July the Great Migration moves through this part of the park, and the lodge is ideally placed for the herds and the Grumeti River crossings.
The lodge has 25 spacious en-suite tents raised on wooden platforms, each with a private terrace overlooking the savannah, a choice of king or twin beds, a bathtub and an outdoor shower.
The main area on the hilltop holds the lounge, indoor and outdoor dining and an infinity pool, with a gym, Wi-Fi in the main area and solar power around the clock. Beyond game drives, guests can take hot-air balloon safaris and visit Maasai communities.
