Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro Trekking Tours

Stand on Uhuru Peak, the Roof of Africa at 5,895 metres, with experienced local mountain guides and a full support crew. Each climb below shows its route, number of days and price. Longer itineraries give your body more time to acclimatise, which is the single biggest factor in reaching the summit safely.

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Exceptional Safaries

At 5,895 metres, Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest point in Africa, and one of the few great summits a fit walker can reach without technical climbing. The challenge is the altitude, which is why our climbs are built around acclimatisation, an experienced mountain crew and generous support on the mountain.

What makes our Kilimanjaro climbs different

  • Five experienced crew members for every trekker, including a private portable toilet and shower.
  • Transition days in Arusha before and after the climb, so you start rested and finish in comfort.
  • A summit push from a high camp, giving you more time on the mountain's upper slopes.

The best months to climb are January to mid-March and June to October, when the weather is driest. Many of our trekkers combine their climb with a safari in the Serengeti or a few days of rest on Zanzibar.
